AwardIT:
Crafting Solutions, One Grant at a Time

Who We Are

Dr. Kalechofsky founded AwardIT Consulting after spending 10+ years as the CTO of a medical imaging startup. In that role he came to appreciate the critical role non-dilutive SBIR funding can play for startups; not only in blunting R+D costs but also in leveraging critical relationships with more traditional sources of funding for high tech startups, such as angels and VCs. AwardIT consultants have written and won grants at all of the “Big 4” SBIR sponsoring agencies (DoD, DoE, NSF, NIH) and to date helped clients raise over $45M in non-dilutive funding.

Like you, we are entrepreneurs and scientists. We have a proven track record of success with the SBIR/STTR program, both in our own ventures and for our clients. We look forward to sharing the benefit of our hard-won experience with you to help your idea on its journey from lightbulb to product.

Our Mission

You already know that SBIR/STTR grants are an excellent source of non-dilutive seed funding for small businesses with big ideas.
